Meks is Natural!!!

I am currently natural.  I transitioned for 18 months and 13 days and believe me when I tell it was a journey. I know many of you are like wait what???  Meks why do you keep switching things up on us. Check out my youtube channel for updates as to why and how I transitioned its a story better heard then read.... As always thank you all for the love and support. What was your longest stretch?
I just did an 18 month transition to Natural... making that my longest stretch without a relaxer. Those relax ends came to a point to where they were just falling off...

What is your hair type?
3C (in some areas) 4 ( A..B..C... I'm not sure I will know in time...lol)

What is your current hair length?
I just BIG CHOP on Dec. 27, 2017 so I am dealing with all kinds of shrinkages... lol

What is your hair length goal?
With my natural hair when its stretched BSL (bra strap length)
In its natural state touching my shoulders.

What is your favorite hair product?
I am still loving olive oil. I'm lately pulled towards tea tree oil due to my eczema but we will talk about that later. Check out the video of my big chop. :-). My husbands first shocking reactions to my big chop will come in a few days.

I am currently transitioning to natural. I know many of you are like wait what???  and super excited about that choice. But I do stretch my relaxers every 6 to 8 months at the most.

What was your longest stretch?
10 months... which was to long of a stretch for my hair and will never go that long again.

What is your hair type?
4B (I think.. I'm not to sure..lol)

a little pass BSL... almost to MBL

Mid Back Length (MBL)....(WL is my final goal)

OLIVE OIL!!!!! lol I really love olive just about anything with olive oil in in I will give it a try.

Braidouts on Relaxed Hair (While Pregnant)

Hello  hair divas, I've been on a break just gave

birth to my handsome son. I will be updating you soon on some new things I have been doing to my hair.

FYI I am now MBL ( mid back length), I was at waist length but I did a trim to get rid of some damage ends. Love you all, and as always wrap that hair at night and happy hair journey!

My thoughts: I was not to crazy about this product at first. I gave it a try again a week ago, and loved it! The key with this one is, DO NOT AIR DRY!! I cant say that enough with this one.. It took every bit of moisture out of my hair the first time and left it feeling oh so dry... If you add your moisturizer and let it get about 75% air dry and then blow dry on low, you will be good to go. 

Product details: Smells great, very thick and easy to apply, has biotin which is great for the hair growth, and its by Shea Moisture!

Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioning cream......

I have tried many leave in products and all have left me feeling like it could be better. I started hearing a lot of buzz in the hair world about this wonderful product and finally decided to give it a try. Much to my surprise I fell in love with it right away. You can see the results right away, and when using it as apart of your nightly regimen, your hair will look and feel so amazing! Ok that's my two cents on this products you can find it at your local Walmart and/or beauty supply store.

UPDATES...

So last night I did a deep conditioner blow dry on low heat and light flat iron. My scalp has been really itchy lately but just in one area, so I did some research and got some great advice.I was told to use some castor oil, which turned up to be some great advice, my hair feels great. Down side I think I may need to wait a few more days to relax my hair to give my scalp time to heal. So ok here are my overload of pictures I took today.

To roller set or not to roller set???

✏I got a request to do a roller set. I've never done one but I think its worth a try. I wonder how in the world will I sleep with those rollers? Will I have to sleep sitting up? Just a random thought... Lol but for real I will try. I do tend to stick with my Bantu knots and braid outs but for my Hairlista and YouTube followers I will do my best to try and let you ladies know how it goes.
